It’s good to start the new year off with something new! Our next guest post is from French web and graphic designer Agnes Malaty. Agnes has been living in Dublin for the past three years. View more of Agnes work.

“Places remember events” – James Joyce

Dublin remembers its mythic past. The entire city sits on Viking remains deeply buried. O’Connell street, The Custom House and the Four Courts remember the 1916 events when the Irish were at war. Temple Bar streets covered with in crusted bottles of beer’s caps testify of people drinking habits. Past events can be erased on its city walls, hidden below a fresh new paint or a new place name, but Dublin will still remember.
