Green & Red Dublin

Monopoly Houses and an Urban Forest.

Floating on the River Liffey in September was an exhibition by the artist Fergal McCarthy called “Liffeytown” featuring green and red monopoly style houses. Lit up at night they look quite dramatic, bobbing there in the dark. There is also another area of Dublin that comes into it’s own at night time, Grand Canal Basin. The dramatic green and red lighting there give it an other world quality.
