The Day in the Life of a Bench

The bench beside Baggot Street Bridge gets many and varied visitors. This film captures some of the people that passed by and others that used the bench. Joggers, tourists, dog walkers, couples out for a stroll, smokers, children and people just taking some time out all take a rest on the bench.

Flooding of Ballsbridge

Natural disasters happen, it is a fact of life and there is not a lot that can be done about it. When natural disasters occur in conjunction with human error or incompetence (depending on your perceptive) then you often have a major problem. Much of the flooding in Ballsbridge could have been prevented had it not been for the human factor. Will any public official be held accountable?  I would not hold my breath in anticipation.

This is some footage I took as I left the house, filming was the last thing on my mind.
